NoSend

Privacy policy

NoSend is built so the intimate parts never leave your phone. This page describes exactly what that means.

Last updated

The short version

The things you write in NoSend — your reasons for going no contact, the messages you decide not to send, your notes, and your streak history — are stored only on your device. There is no endpoint on our servers that accepts them. They are never uploaded, never logged, and never shared.

You can use the app without an account. Signing in is optional and only covers your identity and your purchase.

What stays on your device

All of this is stored locally and nowhere else:

  • The reasons you wrote for choosing no contact
  • Messages you typed but did not send
  • Any nickname or label you gave the person
  • Your no-contact start date, resets and streak history
  • Your pause sessions and their outcomes
  • Notification and display preferences

Deleting the app removes all of it. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.

What we store on our servers

Only if you choose to sign in with Google. In that case we store the minimum needed to know who you are and what you have paid for:

  • Your Google account identifier, email address, display name and profile picture URL
  • The fact that you use NoSend, and when you last opened it
  • Your purchase and entitlement state — whether you have NoSend Pro
  • Session records, so you stay signed in and can sign out everywhere

We do not store your reasons, drafts, notes or streak alongside this. The two are deliberately kept apart.

Permissions

NoSend does not request access to your contacts, your call log, your messages, or your location. It cannot read or intercept anything you send in other apps — it is a pause you open on purpose, not a blocker.

Notifications are optional. The app only asks for permission after you turn a reminder on, and never on first launch.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Google Play. We never see your card details. Purchase validation runs through RevenueCat, which tells our server whether your purchase is valid so we can unlock NoSend Pro. RevenueCat receives your purchase information and an anonymous identifier, not your NoSend content.

Analytics and advertising

NoSend contains no advertising and no third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell data, and there is nothing here to sell.

Children

NoSend is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

  • Use it signed out. Everything except purchases works without an account.
  • Export or delete local data from Settings inside the app, at any time.
  • Delete your account and server-side data — see deleting your data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we store, we will update the date at the top of this page and describe the change in the app’s release notes.
